Grandma

It all began in nineteen thirteen

When Grandma was first seen

June twenty-seventh was then blessed

Even now as we lay her to rest

She was our friend, Grandma, our mum

And now everyone is sad and glum

But this is not the end only the start

For Grandma will life on in our hearts

As we say our last goodbye

Grandma's love float down from the sky

It soaks into our tiny tears

Always remember Grandma lives here <3

Death Poetry
When the unwelcomed and heart shattering loss of a loved on occurs, most of the time we fail to see the bigger picture. Death is part of the circe of life.

Grandma
The 1st time you experience death and understand its true meaning, its very difficult to accept. I found great comfort in writing this poem, even at 16 years old.
