Did You Know ... ?

If I'm not writing then I'm singing. Paul bought me a karaoke for christmas about 4 years ago and its probably one of the best presents I've ever received as an adult.

I'm not sure my neighbours would agree with me though LOL!

Modern Short Stories

I've always found writing short stories a tough little trick to master. They're compact and fast and dramatic right from the get go and if you don't love connect with the character instantly then its over before you had chance to make an impact. Only my best efforts make it here

Novel Extracts

My first ever Novel began on july afternoon, the sun was beating down and I sat on my doorstep slowly turning an maginificent shade of crimson. Yes, I burn easily without suncream. It was two and a half years later before I began writing it. And its been three years since I first wrote the opening line "I'm and arse, please forgive me" ... still the journey I have taken with Life's A Ball? has opened up a whole new world.

Bye Bye Bibby Bye Bye

I never thought I'd see the day

When you got up and had your say

You said that you were not here to stay

I never thought I'd see that day

I didn't want to see your empty chair

Or the carpet without your bibby hair

It's an absence I know I'll share

I didn't want to see you empty chair

A new adventure for feathered inks

blow them away with you lashious blinks

Magenta, Cerise have missing links

A new shade called Roxie Pink

So ride off into the lowering sun

Now sad goodbyes and tears are done

Come back sometime for cheer and fun

Just don't ride off beyond the horizon

R&R Cuba 2010 After what I'd discribe as one of the most toughest years I've ever experienced... Paul and I took spent a huge chunk of my redundancy package on a well deserved break in Varadero.
