Did You Know ... ?

If I'm not writing then I'm singing. Paul bought me a karaoke for christmas about 4 years ago and its probably one of the best presents I've ever received as an adult.

I'm not sure my neighbours would agree with me though LOL!

Modern Short Stories

I've always found writing short stories a tough little trick to master. They're compact and fast and dramatic right from the get go and if you don't love connect with the character instantly then its over before you had chance to make an impact. Only my best efforts make it here

Novel Extracts

My first ever Novel began on july afternoon, the sun was beating down and I sat on my doorstep slowly turning an maginificent shade of crimson. Yes, I burn easily without suncream. It was two and a half years later before I began writing it. And its been three years since I first wrote the opening line "I'm and arse, please forgive me" ... still the journey I have taken with Life's A Ball? has opened up a whole new world.

We Live, We Love, We Lose - Poem 1

Only You

No one else can do this for you

No one else can life your life

No one else will take the hassle

No one else will take the strife

Wherever your life might take you

Wherever you want it to go

There will be someone to hold you back

And someone who will tell you 'no'

There will be a time when life gets hard

And a point not to get out of bed

There will be a time when its just to tough

So pour these words into your head;

Only you control your destiny

Only you can see this through

Only you can make yourself believe

Only you make your dreams come true
