Seasons of Love
Boredom sweeps throughout the land
as winter takes it's toll.
But soon the spring will come, my love,
and the fun begins to roll.
Lambs begin to bounce in light,
And mercury starts to rise.
All I think of throughout the night
Is the sparkle in your eyes.
Sun turns skin from cream to brown
And so we walk arm in arm
When the rain makes its way down
We still touch palm to palm
The year now brings colourful leaves
And chestnuts fresh to roast
Soon the snow will cover the trees
And land from coast to coast
Christmas brings us fun and cheer
And sprinkles a magical touch
A week later - happy new year
With the one I love so much
Boredom sweeps throughout the land,
As winter takes it toll,
But soon the spring will come my love,
And fun begins to roll
